Lemongrass tea tree foot blend

Contains…Melaleuca (tea tree) essential oil, Clove essential oil & Lemongrass essential oil in a
carrier base of castor oil, grapeseed oil, apricot kernel oil, sesame oil & wheat germ oil, preserved
naturally with vitamin E oil.

Oil Properties for Lemongrass Foot Support:
Melaleuca essential oil: a fresh, medicinal, woody, earthy aroma. This oil is considered to be a broad
spectrum antibacterial and antiseptic, with excellent antifungal and antiviral properties. It is
effective in promoting skin health, reducing infections and relieving the inflammation caused by
skin rashes and irritations.
Clove essential oil: a rich, spicy, warming, slightly bitter aroma with woody undertones. This oil is
considered to be broadly antiseptic, as well as antifungal, antibacterial, antiviral and analgesic.
Traditionally, clove oil was used in small doses as a local anesthetic for toothache, as it numbs the
gums and relieves pain. It is believed to bring effective relief to athlete’s foot and other fungal
conditions.
Lemongrass essential oil: a pungent, slightly bitter, lemony aroma with grassy undertones. This oil is
considered to be antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and tonic, with excellent deodorizing qualities.
Castor oil: a very thick carrier oil with a slightly sticky texture. It contains antifungal properties and is
revered in Ayurvedic medicine as a healing oil. This oil is excellent for massaging into the feet. The
thick nature of the oil allows it to remain on the skin long enough to soften and penetrate highly
calloused and rough areas. It then carries the other oils deep into the layers of skin for further
healing and relief from itching conditions.
Grapeseed oil: a carrier oil rich in vitamins, minerals and linoleic acid. It is a light, hypoallergenic,
penetrating oil that is absorbed rapidly into the skin without leaving a greasy residue. In addition,
grape seed oil has mildly astringent qualities, which help to tighten and tone the skin.
Apricot kernel oil: a light, non-greasy carrier oil that is rich in essential fatty acids like oleic and
linoleic acid. Apricot kernel oil is also high in Vitamin A. Since it easily penetrates the skin, it is a good
oil for prematurely aged, dry, dehydrated, irritated or itchy skin. This oil helps skin to retain elasticity,
clarity, and suppleness.
Sesame oil: a carrier oil utilized for its moisturizing properties. It is a very gentle, soothing emollient.
Sesame oil is rich in vitamin E and B complex, protein, lecithin and the minerals calcium, magnesium
and phosphorous - all of which are essential to healthy skin. It is considered to speed healing,
prevent drying, soften skin, and even has a natural sunscreen effect of SPF4.
Wheat germ oil: an unrefined carrier oil rich in Vitamins A, D and E. It is nourishing to the skin. This oil
is said to stimulate tissue regeneration and is often added to other oil blends because of its
antioxidant properties.
Vitamin E oil: an oil used as a natural preservative. Vitamin E oil is considered an anti-oxidant.
