Rosemary tea tree hair and scalp

Contains… Melaleuca (tea tree) essential oil & Rosemary essential oil in a carrier base of jojba oil,
grapeseed oil, apricot kernel oil, sesame oil & wheat germ oil, preserved naturally with vitamin E oil.

Oil Properties for Rosemary Hair and Scalp Therapy:
Melaleuca (tea tree) essential oil: a fresh, medicinal, woody, earthy aroma. This oil is considered to
be a broad spectrum antibacterial and antiseptic, with excellent antifungal and antiviral
properties. It is effective in promoting skin health, reducing infections and relieving the
inflammation caused by skin rashes and irritations.
Rosemary essential oil: a strong, camphorous, herbal aroma with woody and evergreen
undertones. This oil is considered to be analgesic, antibacterial, antiseptic and stimulant. Rosemary
is traditionally used in formulations for the hair and scalp, as it is believed to alleviate sluggish
circulation, reduce dandruff/dry scalp and stimulate healthy hair production.
Jojoba oil: a carrier oil that is actually a liquid wax, created from the jojoba bean. It is an oil rich in
Vitamin E that has anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties as well. It is known to be
beneficial in facial oil and hair treatments, as it is very similar to our own body oil secretion, sebum
and will not clog the facial pores or hair follicles. This is a nourishing oil that penetrates deeply into
dry, damaged skin.
Grapeseed oil: a carrier oil rich in vitamins, minerals and linoleic acid. It is a light, hypoallergenic,
penetrating oil that is absorbed rapidly into the skin without leaving a greasy residue. In addition,
grape seed oil has mildly astringent qualities, which help to tighten and tone the skin.
Apricot kernel oil: a light, non-greasy carrier oil that is rich in essential fatty acids like oleic and
linoleic acid. Apricot kernel oil is also high in Vitamin A. Since it easily penetrates the skin, it is a
good oil for prematurely aged, dry, dehydrated, irritated or itchy skin. This oil helps skin to retain
elasticity, clarity, and suppleness.
Sesame oil: a carrier oil utilized for its moisturizing properties. It is a very gentle, soothing emollient.
Sesame oil is rich in vitamin E and B complex, protein, lecithin and the minerals calcium,
magnesium and phosphorous - all of which are essential to healthy skin. It is considered to speed
healing, prevent drying, soften skin, and even has a natural sunscreen effect of SPF4.
Wheat germ oil: a carrier oil rich in Vitamins A, D and E. It is nourishing to the skin. This oil is said to
stimulate tissue regeneration and is often added to other oil blends because of its antioxidant
properties.
Vitamin E oil: an oil used as a natural preservative. Vitamin E oil is considered an anti-oxidant.
