Update: We are now using an ecological alternative to traditional Indian Sandalwood which is from South Pacific Island Nation of Vanuatu which is utilizing a sustainable replanting program. Tomorrow River Essentials has recently discontinued all products containing Indian sandalwood due to overharvesting and deforestation which have led to a serious decline in wild populations. Currently the plants may be seriously endangered or in danger of extinction. Rosewood essential oil is also considered an at-risk plant source. |
